This is a canyon that needs little words to describe it. Found on a minor tributary of Harris Wash, the narrows are short, probably less than 200 meters, and aren't that deep, perhaps 15 to 20 meters, but the colors, sculpting, and texture of the slot is one of the more incredible found anywhere on the Colorado Plateau.
To reach this canyon involves hiking 2 miles across Africa to access the bottom of the very wide (and very sandy) Harris Wash. You hike up the wash a couple hundred meters and it's there on the east. Other than that it speaks for itself. I will let the photos do the talking here.
