In the foothills of the Truong Son Mountains, west of Da Nang, Highway 14B cuts through a small gorge that a small stream has cut through. The road follows a basic straight course, whereas the river makes a big s curve, making the whole thing kind of similar to a big dollar sign. The creek loses quite a bit of elevation as it drops, resulting in several small but fun waterfalls to downclimb. A fun canyoning adventure can be had by dropping down this stretch, starting at a small bridge, and then dropping down until the end of the gradient. By hiking along the road one could conceivably make a nice single-bike shuttle out of it.
